Electronic Sponsor - QUT

The Queensland University of Technology (QUT) offers Australasia’s only postgraduate degrees in Diagnostic Genomics. Our Master’s Degree is now the gateway to attaining Membership of the Human Genetics Society of Australasia (MHGSA) for Diagnostic Genomics scientists. This qualification provides the opportunity to further your knowledge and expertise in the field and affords the possibility of career promotion. On top of our foundation courses, you can choose to specialise in cytogenomics, molecular genomics and/or biochemical genomics. In addition, you can choose from electives such as computational genomics, genetic epidemiology and cancer genomics. The degree is completely online, so it can be studied anywhere in the world. There is a practical placement, which you may choose to undertake in your place of employment.

We offer a blended learning mode of education, meaning you are provided lecture notes, online video lectures, journal articles, book chapters, webinars, and online discussion boards to talk about course content and assignments with tutors and peers.

The embedded degrees of postgraduate certificate and postgraduate diploma are also available for those not wanting to study the full Masters, or who would just like to update their genomic literacy.
