On behalf of the Australasian Society of Diagnostic Genomics (ASDG) we warmly invite you to participate in the 2019 Interim Scientific Meeting. The title of the meeting is “Banding & Beyond; Taking a Bigger Byte of the Genome”. This will be the 2nd independent meeting of ASDG, a special interest group of the Human Genetics Society of Australasia (HGSA). The Society was formed by the merger of Australasian Society of Cytogeneticists (ASoC) and Molecular Genetics Society of Australasia (MGSA). The bi-annual conference is the preferred meeting for a significant number of genomic scientists from Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. The meeting is well attended by senior scientists and laboratory managers as well as junior scientists.
We are pleased to confirm that our invited speaker will be Anne O'Donnell-Luria, from the Broad Institute (Boston, USA).
In 2019 the meeting will take place from Friday 5th April - Sunday 7th April, at Hotel Grand Chancellor, Adelaide, South Australia. Social events include a welcome reception on Friday evening in the trade display area, and a dinner on Saturday night.
We look forward to welcoming you to Adelaide in April 2019.
